Glossary
Adoption Latency: the time delay between when your company or organization takes an action and when your customer adopts a new idea, habit, product, or service (related: see Defection Latency).
Backlink: a link from a web page on one website to the web page of another website.
Defection Latency: the time delay between when your company or organization takes an action and when your customer desert your company or organization and leaves for a competitor (related: see Adoption Latency).
Lead: a person who has in some way, shape, or form indicated an interest in your company’s product or service.
Lead generation: the process of attracting and converting strangers and prospects into someone who has indicated an interest in your company’s product or service.
Net Promoter Score (NPS): a metric used in customer experience programs that measures the loyalty of customers to a company and their likelihood to recommend your product or service.
