Okay, so the first thing that came to mind while looking at the cover is that this book would be all about pratices to keep oneself from becoming stressed or simply reducing stress. This book was all that, a bag of chips, a large coke, and free movie tickets.
I love the sciences, especially biology (althoug I’m admittedly not great at it) and this book stormed in with knowledge bombs. It delves right down to the science of how our stress response works, our brain, the nervous system and then how our psychology and physiology affects these systems.
Absolutely incredible and way beyond what I expected. A great book for absolutely anyone to read and I highly recommend everybody does.
